Dr. Savvas Karatsiolis completed his PhD studies at the University of Cyprus in Computer Science with a focus in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He also received his MSc in Information Systems from the Open University of Cyprus and his BSc in Computer Engineering from the University of Nicosia. He also has an HND in Electrical Engineering from the Higher Technical Institute of Cyprus. His research interests include Computer Vision, Unsupervised Representation Learning and Remote Sensing from satellite imagery.
