CYENS at Reflect Festival 2025: Exploring the Future of Virtual Production

On May 15, 2025, CYENS Centre of Excellence proudly participated in Reflect Festival 2025, Cyprus’ largest tech and future-forward event, held in Limassol. Our PULSE Multidisciplinary Research Group (MRG) brought innovation to life with an interactive demo in virtual production, showcasing the fusion of real-time body and facial motion capture with immersive 3D technologies.

Using a motion suit and a simple mobile device, participants were able to animate digital avatars live, offering a tangible glimpse into the next generation of digital humans and immersive storytelling. Festival visitors stepped into the experience themselves, engaging with research that sits at the crossroads of art, technology, and interactivity.
