As the only organization in Cyprus dedicated to immersive technologies, it plays a vital role in advancing knowledge and facilitating technology transfer across the region. On May 10, 2025, CYENS Centre of Excellence proudly took part in the Europe Day 2025 celebrations, held at the historic Ledra Palace Moat Area in Nicosia. Under the theme “Together / Birlikte / Mazi,” the event brought communities together to celebrate European unity, diversity, and shared futures.

Despite the summer heat, our team was energized by the many meaningful conversations with visitors, who stopped by to learn more about CYENS’ work in human-centered research, innovation, and cross-cultural collaboration. From AI and immersive tech to heritage and smart cities, our presence highlighted how innovation can be inclusive, impactful, and deeply rooted in community values.
