You are cordially invited to participate in the AI Colonialism Board Game as part of Alexia Achilleos’ PhD research.
Alexia Achilleos is a PhD Fellow with us, working with ITICA, and a Research Associate at MADLab, CUT. She has developed this game as part of her research, examining the impact of AI on society.
The AI Colonialism Board Game is a collaborative artist game designed to raise awareness about AI’s impact on our local community. It encourages critical examination of the global AI ecosystem and its specific implications for Cypriot society. The work has previously been presented at the Home for Cooperation, WIP Festival 2023, and NeMe Arts Centre. Please find more info on Alexia’s Website, Instagram, and Google Drive.
The board game session will take place as an after-work gathering for CYENS employees:
