Teacher Training Workshop on Sustainable Food Education at CYENS

CYENS Centre of Excellence invites educators to participate in a specialised teacher training workshop focused on the design of educational activities related to sustainable food systems and the CLEVERFOOD for Everyone exhibition.

This 2.5-hour interactive session is designed to support primary and secondary school educators in integrating sustainability topics into their teaching practice, while making effective use of the CLEVERFOOD exhibition as an educational tool.

During the workshop, participants will:

Be introduced to the principles of open schooling and the whole-school approach
Explore how schools can act as living labs for food system transformation
Learn how to integrate the CLEVERFOOD exhibition into classroom activities
Co-create hands-on learning activities to use before and after student visits (virtual or in-person)

The workshop is co-organised by CYENS Centre of Excellence and Ellinogermaniki Agogi as part of the CLEVERFOOD project. It aims to strengthen the connection between formal and informal education and foster collaboration among educators and stakeholders in food education.
