The Mayor of Nicosia Charalambos Prountzos will met on 1 July 2024 the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Ms. Marija Pejčinović Burić at Nicosia City Hall. The Mayor Mr. Prountzos, members of the City Council and Mrs. Burić, will escort the delegation to the 3rd floor of the Town Hall, where they will see the occupied area of Nicosia and the Green line divide the capital city. They will walk along the Green line, where they will have the opportunity to see the effects of the ongoing occupation.
Finally, they will visit the renovated Old Municipal Market, which now houses the CYENS Center of Excellence, where they will be presented with the Center’s programs.
