The CYENS Centre of Excellence was honored to welcome H.E. Salina Grenet-Catalano, Ambassador of France in Cyprus, and Mr. Eric Tosatti, the Cultural Affairs Attaché and Director of the French Institute in Cyprus, on August 17, 2023.
During the visit, Ambassador Grenet-Catalano and Mr. Eric Tosatti were guided through an insightful tour of the CYENS premises. The tour included an introduction to the advanced Thinker Maker Space (TMS), equipped with digital fabrication and rapid prototyping facilities, led by Mr. Marios Constantinides, Senior Manager at TMS CYENS. Additionally, they were introduced to the Smart City Project of Nicosia Municipality by Mr. Christos Lambis, as well as The Space Laboratory presented by Mr. Colm Larkin of the Cyprus Space Exploration Organisation (CSEO). Both of these facilities are housed within CYENS building.
Following the tour, the General Director of CYENS, Professor Yiorgos Chrysanthou, delivered a presentation, providing an overview of the Centre’s pioneering work, leading to engaging discussions.
