CyprusInno, in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Cyprus, is excited to host the second edition of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE). This pioneering initiative is dedicated to empowering women by equipping them with the essential tools, knowledge, and resources necessary to successfully launch and scale their businesses. Through an immersive program, participants are guided through vital areas such as strategic planning, marketing, and financial management, supported by mentors from the local business ecosystem and the esteemed U.S. Exchange Alumni network.
On Wednesday, 25th of September 2024, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM, the AWE cohort will engage in their second session, focused on building a robust Business Model Canvas. This essential workshop will help participants structure their ideas into viable business strategies, forming the backbone of their entrepreneurial journey.
Enhancing this session is a panel discussion that will feature inspiring women who have successfully transformed their innovative ideas into thriving businesses. These speakers will share their personal journeys, challenges, and insights, offering valuable advice and motivation to the AWE participants.
In addition to the discussion, the cohort will benefit from a study visit to CYENS, providing an exclusive opportunity to explore one of the region’s leading research and innovation centers. This visit is designed to inspire creative thinking and highlight the vast potential of integrating technology and innovation into business strategies.
The Academy for Women Entrepreneurs is more than just a program—it’s a platform for connection, growth, and empowerment. By creating a strong support system, fostering innovation, and building networks across borders, AWE is playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of women-led businesses in Cyprus.
