CYENS research teams have started working on exciting new projects that will bridge both cultural and disciplinary boundaries. Funded through the Centre’s Island-Wide Perspective and Reach grants initiative, each will apply new technologies and methods to solve a societal challenge while encouraging cross-community engagement and collaboration.
The five projects are:
INSPIRE | Reducing Prejudice in Post-Conflict Cyprus Using Immersive VR |
BluePark | Island-Wide Smart Parking Application for Disabled Persons |
CO-FOR-IT | Coalition for Forestation Using Information Technologies |
socialLab | Social Interactions Across (Language) Barriers |
CyCLOPS | Cypriot Youth and Online Content: Looking Beyond the Single Perspective in Information Access Systems |
