Marianna Hadjiandoniou, a distinguished Human Resource Management professional and advocate for diversity and inclusion, has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director to the Board of the CYENS Centre of Excellence, Cyprus’ leading research and innovation hub for interactive media, smart systems, and emerging technologies.

CYENS was established in 2018 as an EU-funded RISE initiative under the coordination of the Municipality of Nicosia and is today co-chaired by the Mayor of Nicosia, Charalambos Prountzos. Bringing together a consortium of five academic institutions, CYENS is recognised for advancing world-class research and applying novel technologies to address real-world challenges across health, energy, tourism, transport, agriculture, and the built environment.

With over two decades of leadership experience, Marianna has played a pivotal role in formulating and implementing HR strategies that foster equity, inclusion, and sustainable growth. She is the General Secretary of the Cyprus National Paralympic Committee, an active member of BPW Cyprus Federation of Business and Professional Women, and holds leadership roles within Cyprus Red Cross, the Cyprus International Businesses Association (CIBA), and the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Marianna Hadjiandoniou stands at the forefront of HR strategies and business reorganizations in various industries. As an executive HR professional and seasoned consultant, Marianna brings over two decades of extensive experience working with local and international companies. She specializes in defining and implementing HR strategies, launching HR functions during start-up phases, and managing HR facets of large-scale reorganizations. Marianna holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Surrey University, UK, and is a respected member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). With her strategic vision and HR expertise, Marianna has a deep understanding of the complexities involved in scaling businesses and developing talents. With her innovative approaches to HR, Marianna commits to fostering inclusive, dynamic, and high-performing corporate cultures. After her significant tenure as HR Director at Parimatch Cyprus, in March 2024 Marianna Hadjiandoniou was appointed as Executive Vice President of Energame, a management firm that provides advisory and management services to businesses with significant scale-up potential, such as Tech & iGaming. In 2014 she founded PERHA Group, HR Consulting firm, to partner with companies aiming to enhance employee engagement and achieve superior results.
