On Thursday 10th of March, the fourth multiplier event of the Safe Transfer Techniques (STTech) Erasmus+ funded project took place at the “Archangelos Michael” nursing home with participants from medical and paramedical staff.
The overall goal of the project is a long-term effort to reduce attrition and work injuries, to improve education and work environment in the health care sector and to ensure the safety and rehabilitation of patients. Implementing the results of this project in today’s health care sector is an investment that will benefit the economy by virtue of fewer sick days for caregivers.
During the event, participants were trained on clinical skills through the use of VR, skills which they will be able to continue to use via the VR e-resources after the completion of the event.
The multiplier event aimed to identify the difference between direct learning and immersive learning based on cases, help participants understand the use of the VR e-resources, help them gain new or improve their existing knowledge on clinical skills within a clinical skill program.
