Magdalene Charalambous is an innovation and project management professional with a strong background in supporting entrepreneurship, research commercialisation, and sustainable innovation across European innovation ecosystems. At CYENS Centre of Excellence, she works within the Innovation Department and manages, among other responsibilities, the activities of the EIT Community Hub Cyprus, contributing to the design, coordination, and delivery of high-impact initiatives that connect startups, researchers, industry, and policymakers.

Her experience across organisations such as the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), The Cyprus Institute, and the National Technical University of Athens provides her with a unique blend of strategic coordination, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on project execution. Magdalene holds an MSc in Environmental Sciences and a BSc in Physics, combining a strong scientific foundation with a keen interest in emerging technologies, sustainability, and capacity building. Known for her collaborative mindset and attention to detail, she is passionate about creating environments where ideas evolve into scalable solutions and people are empowered through knowledge sharing and lifelong learning.
