ABOUT THE POSITION:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
CYENS Centre of Excellence is seeking a Junior Marketing and Communications Officer to join its team of passionate and enthusiastic professionals. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and communication strategies. The successful candidate will contribute to marketing initiatives, enhance brand visibility, and support engagement across digital platforms.  Key Responsibilities  
  • Manage the back office of the CYENS website.  
  • Support and coordinate all digital marketing activities, including email campaigns and social media management.  
  • Create, schedule, and upload content for social media, including video editing and product photography.  
  • Manage email marketing platforms and distribute content for CYENS newsletters. 
  • Maintain and enhance the CYENS marketing and communication database.  
  • Monitor marketing performance, assess traffic and impact, and generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for all marketing activities, including the website and social media.  
  • Draft, edit, and distribute press releases to media outlets to promote CYENS initiatives, events, and achievements. 
  • Perform any other related duties as required.  
  • Perform any other duties as specified by the manger CYENS management or relevant procedures. 
General Qualifications & Requirements:
  1. University Degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent) or relevant diploma / certificate or other study title or qualifications in Marketing, Communication, Journalism or a relevant field, or expected to complete by the time of starting the job. 
  2. Relevant experience in digital marketing, social media management, or content creation is an advantage but not required.   
  3. Up to date knowledge of digital marketing trends and technologies. 
  4. Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools. 
  5. Strong understanding of market research techniques, data analysis, and performance management.  
  6. Knowledge of content creation, media planning, and reputation management.  
  7. Computer literate - excellent knowledge of MS Office and marketing software. 
  8. Language requirements: Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English are essential. 
  9. Non-EU applicants must already possess a valid work permit.

Applicants who meet the following requirements for the HRDA scheme for recent graduates will also be considered: 
  • Have successfully completed a higher education program of at least three (3) years and hold at least a bachelor's degree/diploma of higher education.  
  • They are under the age of thirty (30).  
  • If the graduate has work experience related to the position, it must not exceed eight (8) months.
