She has more than 100 peer-reviewed publications in major scientific journals in my field of Educational Technology. I serve on the editorial boards of Educational Technology Research & Development (ETRD), TechTernds, Contemporary Educational Technology, Journal of Computer Assisted Learning (JCALT), and Behaviour & Information Technology. I have been involved as a principal investigator (PI), local coordinator, or researcher in more than 20 research projects, funded by the European Union and national grants.

Dr Aekaterini Mavri has a PhD in Educational Technology from the Cyprus University of Technology, an MA in Interaction Design and a BA in Visual Communication Design from Middlesex University (UK). She is a senior researcher at the Cyprus Interaction Lab and a full-time teaching staff member at the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Arts at the Cyprus University of Technology. Her research interests focus on the design, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum-integrated social learning models, such as cross-organizational communities of practice, that integrate academic and industrial practices in the Higher Education Design disciplines.

Dr Antigoni Parmaxi (female) holds a BA in Classical Studies from the University of Cyprus, an MA in Pedagogical Sciences from the same University, and a PhD from the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT). She is the co-director of the Cyprus Interaction Lab of the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Arts and Tenured Teaching Personnel (Greek Language) at the Language Centre of CUT. She is also the Coordinator of the Learning Development Network of CUT. Her research interests include constructionist learning via emerging technologies, and learning design with emerging technologies for equality and social inclusion.

Eirini has worked as a researcher in various national, EU (Erasmus+ KA2) and Horizon 2020
projects such as IrisPhone-Pro [2018-2020], ENCASE [2018-2020], FeSTEM [2020-2022] and
Openlang [2021]. She is currently working on Erasmus+ funded projects such as DRFLEMP
[2022-2024] that has to do with Digital Reality in Language Learning for Medical Purposes,
FemPower [2022-2024] that has to do with Gender Equality in the Clean Energy Transition and
ARIDLL [2022-2025] that has to do with Augmented Reality Instructional Design for Language
Learning. Her research interests include among others education technology, STEM, emerging
technologies, gender equality, children, elder adults and women.

Dr Oksana Dremova holds a PhD in Education from HSE University in Russia, an MA in Globalising Education, Policy and Practice from the University of Sheffield (UK), and a BA in Pedagogy from Penza State University (Russia). She is also a researcher at the Cyprus Interaction Lab (the Cyprus University of Technology). Her research interests focus on mixed-methods policy analysis, academic ethics, AI in education and student experiences in higher education.

Stephanie Papalla holds a BArch and MArch in architecture from the Manchester School of Architecture. She is an architect and a researcher combining her experiences of the industry with academia. Her research interests include: urban design, design thinking, maker learning and emerging technologies.
