AmirHossein Naghirazlighi is a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Cyprus, where he conducts research in generative artificial intelligence, computer vision, and computer graphics. He is co-supervised by Dr. Ali Mahdavi-Amiri at Simon Fraser University (GrUVi Lab) and Dr. Daniel Cohen-Or, with a research focus on generative models for video, 3D, and visual content creation.
Originally from Iran, AmirHossein received his B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, graduating with distinction. His research interests span deep learning, generative models, visual computing, neural rendering, and multimodal AI, with an emphasis on developing geometry-aware and controllable generation methods. Before starting his PhD, he worked as an AI and AR engineer in industry, where he developed machine learning systems and AI-assisted software engineering tools. His work has been recognized through academic awards and international research collaborations, and he is passionate about advancing the intersection of computer vision, graphics, and generative AI.
