She is a Research Associate at the DeepCamera MRG and an Honorary Research Fellow at King’s College London. She brings over thirteen years of research experience in quantitative MRI, medical image computing, and computational modelling. She held research positions at University College London, University of Cyprus and San Rafaelle Hospital in Milan, contributing to interdisciplinary projects across image analysis, machine learning and biomarker development. Dimitra received a Marie Skłodowska‑Curie Fellowship in 2023, which she carried out at the University of Cyprus through the European InSilicoPlacenta project, collaborating with the University of Adelaide on advanced placental MRI, maternal–fetal physiology, and the development of imaging‑derived biomarkers in preclinical and translational pregnancy research.
